The guiding principle of our Natural Beauty Enhancement program is that your radiance shines forth from within
Our natural beauty enhancement program is designed to support your body’s natural intelligence, innate ability to heal. Radiance comes from within, and cosmetic acupuncture enhances and highlights your natural beauty, glow and vitality. We incorporate a detailed holistic analysis of your unique needs. By combining the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine with modern science, we are on the cutting edge of natural skincare and beauty treatments. Your treatment program will consist of:
3 Simple Steps:
Free initial consultation
At your free initial consultation you’ll meet with your clinician to discuss your concerns including current symptoms, medical history, any medications you’re taking, and most importantly YOUR GOALS. We want to be certain that our program is going to meet your needs and that there is a HIGH probability of success for you – BEFORE we move forward to the next step.
Detailed assessment, report of findings & treatment plan
Once your free consultation is complete, and we agree to move forward, your next step is the Intake appointment. At this appointment, your clinician will do a detailed assessment of your symptom pattern, medical history, and other factors to determine the root cause of your issue and devise a specific plan of action. Your first acupuncture session will be performed at this time.
Afterward, you will be given a treatment plan with exact, easy-to-follow instructions. Your clinician will explain to you what’s happening in your body and how we will work together to correct it. Your treatment plan will include dietary and lifestyle adjustments as well as key supplements and herbal medicines to address the root cause of your concerns and address your most pressing symptoms.
Active treatment & symptom resolution
You’ll return for regular visits to ensure that we’re supporting your body, as you begin to feel the positive shifts from treatment. We want to make sure your treatment plan is yielding the expected results. You’ll receive acupuncture and any other appropriate treatment at each visit to ensure that your progress is cumulative, and your concerns are resolved as soon as possible.
Why our Natural Beauty Enhancement Program is effective:
We address the root cause
Determining and then addressing the root cause of your symptoms allows us figure out what’s really going on and then correct that imbalance. This is what allows you to experience long lasting, true healing and wellness.
We use an all natural approach
Natural medicine is powerful, effective without the toxicity associated with pharmaceutical drugs and chemicals. Decreasing your toxin load frees up more of your energy and resources for healing and transformation. Natural medicine can also be used to reduce the side effects of your drugs.
We awaken your body's natural ability to heal
Your body was designed to self-regulate and self-heal. Symptoms happen when this capacity gets blocked. Healing happens when we remove these blocks and remind the body of it’s innate, natural healing ability.
We fuse ancient wisdom with modern science
Ancient wisdom honours the use of natural medicines and the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Modern science has provided technology and specialized insight into the physical and chemical processes in the body. This combination contributes to improved treatment outcomes.
We keep it simple
Simplicity in treatment means less confusion for your body while it heals. It is also the way you’re going to be able to make positive lifestyle changes that are sustainable and long lasting. Keeping it simple makes your healing journey easier and more straightforward.
Common Questions & Answers:
+ What is cosmetic acupuncture?
Cosmetic acupuncture is a gentle millennia-old beauty treatment that organically restores the skin’s youthful glow. It is a whole-body approach to reducing the signs of accelerated aging on the surface of the skin, by addressing the internal factors that contribute to premature aging; such as chronic inflammation, poor circulation, hormone imbalance and digestive disruption.
+ How does cosmetic acupuncture work?
Hair-thin acupuncture needles are gently placed into specific areas of the body, head and face. These needles cause local changes that improve the circulation of qi and blood – stimulating collagen production. Qi can be loosely translated to vital energy, and is what breathes life into the body.
With improved circulation and collagen production, cosmetic acupuncture repairs the skin and contributes to increased muscle tone, elasticity, and a more even-balanced complexion with a natural glow, a lifted appearance, more open and brighter eyes, increased definition in the cheekbones and an overall more dewy and youthful appearance.
+ Does acupuncture hurt?
The needles are extremely thin and are inserted with a gentle technique. People often don’t even realize when the needles are being inserted.
+ What about herbal medicine?
Herbal and plant medicine have been used for centuries for fertility and other conditions. The can restored depleted energy, balance hormones, reduce inflammation and can have many other positive effects on your skin, complexion and overall health.
+ Will I have to spend a lot of time coming in for treatments?
Most of our patients achieve great results with coming in for treatments once or twice a week, depending on their unique needs.
+ Do you give dietary recommendations?
Absolutely. You will receive specific nutritional recommendations based upon your unique needs and the unique needs associated with supporting skin rejuvenation, healing and complexion brightening.
+ How long does it take to work?
The timeframe for results varies and we can definitely give you a more accurate estimate at your free consultation. We typically will recommend a starting course of cosmetic acupuncture for 1-3 months depending on the individual.
+ What are my chances of success?
Your situation is unique and once we meet with you we will be able to give you our best estimate of time and prognosis of outcome.
+ It is right fo me?
Cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation is one of our areas of expertise at What’s Good. Each treatment is unique to you and your specific area of concern. After your first treatment with us, we will recommend a treatment plan that will help you to achieve your skincare goals – whether it is improving skin texture and elasticity, reducing puffiness, decreasing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, addressing under-circles and bags, defining your cheekbones, jawline and chin, resolving acne and reducing redness.
+ Are there any risks or side effects?
Cosmetic acupuncture is an all-natural, organic, chemical-free approach to beautifying your skin and complexion. It is without the side effects, risks and downtime of more invasive cosmetic procedures. There is no swelling or redness, allergic reactions, blocking of the nerves or blood vessels and you don’t need to worry about being unable to move your face naturally. Although the majority of our patients do not experience complications, a small amount of bruising may occur occasionally.
It’s not just a job.
This is a calling. It’s what we’re meant to be doing.
