“We serve life not because it is broken, but because it is holy.” ~ Mother Teresa
Hi there! My name is Katrina. I am an expert in natural medicine, health and wellness. I use Chinese medicine, acupuncture and nutrition to help those in our community get out of pain, increase energy and improve digestion. I have a special interest in women’s health, fertility, and sports medicine. My true passion lays in inspiring people to realize their full potential to live a joyful, fulfilling and meaningful life.
In my third year of university, I took a course on literature and medicine. I discovered vast differences in western and eastern medicine and it was fascinating. Chinese medicine has a different understanding of the human body, it’s internal structures and functions and even it’s relationship to our outside environment. The more and more I learned, the more I wanted to know. The rest as they say, is history!

I live with my husband Charleston, who is also What’s Good’s Executive Chef (I know, lucky me!). I am an avid reader and can always be found lugging around my giant bag of books or with my nose buried in my e-book reader. In the winter I love to snowboard, in the summer I love to complain about the heat and humidity. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, practicing yoga, dancing and singing (badly).
I love what I do and I love seeing the benefit this medicine has had in so many lives.
To my patients, I would like to say thank you. It truly is a great privilege, an honour and a blessing to care for you.
To my parents, my family, my friends, teachers, mentors, colleagues and all who helped me along the way, thank you. I am grateful for the impact you’ve had on my life.
To those that I haven’t yet had the opportunity to meet yet, I believe that the right people are placed in our lives at the right time for the right reasons. I look forward to knowing you.
To your continued good health and happiness, with love,
Katrina
“Katrina was a fantastic resource during my pregnancy and was so skilled at providing acupressure treatment for me. She even taught my husband pressure points to ease discomfort during labour. Everyone at the clinic is so friendly and it’s a very warm and welcoming environment. And the food is delicious! Charleston is a phenomenal chef and so personable. What’s Good is just what Oakville needs!“
