Many people today struggle with mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, and we are here to help. Our expert practitioners have decades of experience successfully treating mental health issues using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and we are committed to helping you achieve optimal mental health and well-being.

Whether you are currently taking conventional treatments or seeking a more natural, holistic approach to your mental health, we can help. Research has shown that acupuncture can help alleviate depression and anxiety symptoms, and Chinese herbal medicine has been found to be effective in reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as treating insomnia, which is often a symptom of these conditions.

Published studies that support the use of acupuncture or Chinese herbal medicine for mental health:

A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) found that acupuncture was significantly more effective than control treatments in reducing symptoms of anxiety (Amorim et al., 2018).
A meta-analysis of 66 RCTs found that acupuncture was an effective treatment for depression, with effects comparable to those of antidepressant medication (Chan et al., 2015).
A review of 13 studies found that Chinese herbal medicine was effective in reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety (Yeung et al., 2012).
A randomized controlled trial found that a combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine was effective in reducing symptoms of postpartum depression (Manber et al., 2010).
A review of 28 studies found that Chinese herbal medicine was effective in treating insomnia, a common symptom of anxiety and depression (Yeung et al., 2014).
